What is an AppleTV?

AppleTV and AppleTV+ are two different things. Essentially an AppleTV is a box that plugs into your TV, projector, or other input device that allows you to play Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV+, HBO Max, Peacock, and so many other video or audio streams, including content Airplayed directly from your Apple devices. AppleTV+ is a stream service, much like Netflix, but with less content.

In our experience, owning an AppleTV is the best way to stream content even if you don't purchase AppleTV+. It offers reliable control methods, great performance, stabile functionality, and 4K HDR Atmos output (cutting edge performance) The drawback, if it is installed improperly it can be less that stabile and need replacing.
